Tonight, when she hosts the MTV Movie Awards, Sarah Jessica Parker will get a chance to raise the award-show fashion bar higher than ever.

"I'm not a comedian," Parker says. "I'm not going to stand there and tell jokes, so I'll give them a fashion show instead."

The "Sex in the City" star makes a dizzying 15 costume changes in her three-hour tour of the New York, Paris and Milan shows. There's lady, there's tramp, there's a demented ballerina and a wartime cabaret star, a hip-hop diva and a Sixties society hostess. The designers: Versace, Dolce & Gabbana, Calvin Klein, John Galliano, Prada, Richard Tyler, Norma Kamali, Jean Paul Gaultier, Moschino and Jeremy Scott.

"The girl knows her fashion," says Jennifer Hitzges, her stylist for the night. "She can go through the lookbooks as fast as any editor. What she ends up with is funky and different but totally correct."
