Born and raised in England, a passion for art and painting along with her love for fashion and beauty photography led her to London in 1995.
Spending a year out in Amsterdam Anita returned to London where she took a course in theatre make-up. Gravitating toward the fashion industry she started her career assisting renowned make-up artists and testing with assistant photographers. With this experience she has built up a reputation for high detail and creativity. With an ability to enhance the natural beauty of a face, Anita creates highly clean and minimal looks to the more extreme and dramatic effects.
Anita’s editorial contributions include British Vogue, French Vogue, Teen Vogue, V Man, Interview, i-D, 032c, Dazed and Confused, Wonderland, Rodeo, Glamour (Italian), Qvest, Zoo, Lula, Exit and Crash.
She has collaborated with such photographers as David Slijper, Josh Olins, Julian Broad, Lachlan Bailey, Vivianne Sassen, Matt Irwin, Ali Peck, Skye Parrott, Tung Walsh, Ben Rayner, Jenny Gage & Tom Betterton, Dancian and Mel Bless.
Anita’s celebrity clients include Sienna Miller, Jade Jagger, Emmanuelle Seigner, Beth Orton, Catherine Bailey, Jack Huston, Dominic Cooper, Danielle de Niese, Lily Allen, Lykke Li, MIA, Patrick Wolf, Paloma Faith, Roisin Murphy and Bat for Lashes.
Anita has overseen the make-up direction on various fashion shows for London Fashion Week’s On/Off including Mark Fast, Peter Pilotto, Kisa, Shane & Falguni Peacock, Mother of Pearl, Alexander Koutny and Rozalb de Mira.
