Kirstin was born in Snowdonia, North Wales. At the early age of just a few months the family moved to Limburg in Holland to set up their Euro Art Centre business. For the following 10 years Kirstin grew up surrounded and inspired by all art forms. It was from this childhood experience that Kirstin shared her family’s love of art, culture, photography, films, fashion as well as nature.

It was in 1991 at Hastings College of Arts and Technology, where Kirstin studied Hairdressing & Beauty and Art Foundation. It was this course that defined Kirstin’s passion for the world of fashion.

In 2001 Kirstin started working with Charlotte Tilbury, at Fashion Weeks in New York, London, Milan & Paris. It was in 2004 that Kirstin launched her freelance career as a Make-Up artist.

Kirstin has collaborated with several of the industry’s top photographers such as Andreas Larsson, David Vasiljevic, Josh Olins, Mert and Marcus, Miles Aldridge, Nathaniel Goldberg, Nick Knight, Phil Poynter, Richard Bush, Serge Leblon, Solve Sundsbo and Yelena Yemchuck.

Her work can be seen on the covers and pages of the following magazines: Another Magazine, Vogue (American, French, Chinese, Japanese, Russian editions) Numero Tokyo, POP, Self Service, V Magazine, Dazed and Confused, i-D Magazine and Harper’s Bazaar.

Kirstin has directed the Make-Up team for various fashion shows, such as Alberta Ferretti, Claire Tough, Emilio De La Morena, Emma Cook, Hussein Chalayan, Krystof, Noki, Stella McCartney and Topman.

Kirstin’s talent can also be seen in a number of advertising campaigns: Alexander McQueen , Acquascutum, Agent Provocateur, Bally, Beyman, Diesel, Exté, Ghost, Gucci, Just Cavalli, Lancôme and Louis Vuitton.

Kirstin is currently based in London.
