Fashion makeup credits for Regina Harris have been seen in Vogue, Elle, W and Marie Claire as well as many other magazine and book publications. She provides makeup services to a wide and diverse range of advertising clients and designers internationally.
In addition to this body of work with various models and celebrities she has designed hair and makeup for artist Matthew Barney (Cremaster Films) as well as many other artists and special museum projects such as mannequin head design for the Warhol Retrospective (Whitney Museum).
The artist’s creative work with makeup has moved into other media. One of her sculptures, “Body Pod in Pool” (D’Amelio Terras Gallery 1999) is part of a body of work which plays with shapes that seem to extend or encapsulate the human form.
A strong focus on creating beauty, in many forms, has recently led Regina into another area, which combine her visual and olfactory sensibilities: a new line of uniquely blended perfume oils, in exotic handmade metalwork bottles.
It’s only natural that so many forms of creativity meld seamlessly for Regina Harris. Regina has studied sculpture, painting, fashion design, photography and dance. She also performs dance based on her training in Middle Eastern, Flamenco,Indian and Butoh styles.
Regina is currently based in New York.
