Jin Soon Choi, a native of Korea, is a professional nail artist and the founder/owner of Jin Soon Natural Hand & Foot Spas in New York City.

Jin’s work is consistently featured on the cover and the inside pages Vogue, Italian Vogue, W, Allure, InStyle, Marie Claire, Teen Vogue, Vogue Nippon, Elle, GQ, Glamour and Harper’s Bazaar. WWD proclaimed her the “media’s darling,”. In an historic seven-page spread featuring her nail art. The New York Times Magazine crowned her the “Nail Guru.”

For Fall 2009 M.A.C. launched a nail collection exclusively created by Jin Soon. The colors caused a sensation backstage at Doo-Ri during New York fall 2009 fashion week and have since been the subject of media buzz. Jin and her team are a fashion week fixture ensuring that models hands and feet are runway-perfect. Her most recent shows were Derek Lam, Proenza Schouler, Cynthia Steffe, and Oscar De La Renta; While past shows include J. Mendel, Matthew Williamson, Rebecca Taylor, Vivienne Tam and BCBG.

Jin has worked on advertising campaigns for Prada, Lanvin, Balenciaga, Roberto Cavalli, Bottega Veneta, Missoni, Mulberry, Dolce & Gabbana, Alberta Ferretti, and Louis Vuitton - all shot by prominent fashion photographer Steven Meisel. Additional fashion campaigns include Vera Wang, Calvin Klein Jeans, Elie Tahari, Neiman Marcus, Banana Republic, J. Crew and Jones New York. While beauty campaigns include L'Oréal, Cover Girl, M.A.C., Revlon, RMK, Sephora and Maybelline.

In addition to Steven Meisel, Jin works with many of the leading fashion industry photographers among them Michael Thompson, Irving Penn, Annie Leibovitz, Craig McDean, Steven Klein, Mario Sorrenti, David LaChapelle, Patrick Demarchelier, Carlton Davis, Paolo Roversi, Regan Cameron, Terry Richardson, Raymond Meier, Tom Munro, Philippe Salomon, Alexi Lubomirski and Gilles Bensimon.

Sarah Jessica Parker was Jin’s first client at her spa in New York’s West Village, and it was here that Ms. Parker did her Vogue interview that season.
