Matthias Vriens-McGrath is a Dutch fashion and fine art photographer. His signature style uses humorous erotic overtones to inject personality and wit into his photographs. Matthias has had solo exhibitions at the Nederlands Foto-Instituut in Rotterdam and The Project in New York City.  In addition to his work as a photographer, Matthias has also been the Editor-in-Chief of Dutch Magazine, Creative Director of Giorgio Armani and Senior Art Director at Gucci Group.

Among the many publications that have published Matthias' work are Another Magazine, Men's Vogue, Vanity Fair, Rolling Stone, New York Times Magazine, Vogue Homme, Numéro, Japanese Vogue, Russian Vogue, GQ, Pop, V Magazine, Interview and Details. Matthias has also photographed some of the most sought after celebrities in the world such as Charlize Theron, Kate Hudson, Cate Blanchett, Kate Winslet, Jennifer Connolly, Penelope Cruz, Ben Affleck, Hugh Jackman, Tom Brady and Josh Brolin.

Advertising Clients include Sisley, Paul & Joe, Dunhill, Givenchy, Lancel, Naturalizer, Paul Morelli,  Rene Lezard,  Celine Fever, Club Med, Sinequanone, Kenneth Cole, The Gap, American Eagle Outfiiters and Rena Lange.

Matthias currently resides between Los Angeles and New York City.
