Nicolas Moore was born
and raised in New York and was first introduced to the world of
fashion by his father, James Moore, who is a photographer and film
director. His mother was a highly acclaimed German model and taught
Nicolas how to speak four languages. During high school, Nicolas
spent most of his summers working on the set of feature films and
television. In turn, this experience has fueled his inspiration
towards fashion photography, cultivating most of his ideas from
films.
Nicolas graduated from the University of Vermont and studied economics
and art history with an emphasis in architecture.
Nicolas Moore has shot for Another Magazine, i-D, Japanese
Vogue, Teen Vogue, L’Uomo Vogue, Flair,
Allure, Russian Vogue, GQ, and America
Magazine. He has photographed many high profile celebrities such
as Woody Allen, Scarlett Johansson, Diego Luna, Catherine Deneuve,
Arnold Schwartzenegger, and Charlotte Rampling. Nicolas is also
a favorite amongst musicians like Kayne West, Ludacris, Dangermouse,
Kelis, and Deborah Harry. His advertising clients include Salvatore
Ferragamo, Maybelline, Aveda, Valentino, Emanuel Ungaro, Charter
Club, Air France, Guinot, Style.com and Olay.
