Spencer Higgins draws inspiration from design, sculpture and typography for his still life photographs. Constantly experimenting with various forms and mediums, he is lauded for his clean, minimalist approach as well as an imaginative use of materials and mechanics. His editorial and commercial clients include W Magazine, Wired, VMAN, Origins, Estée Lauder and BBDO.

Spencer studied photography at Parson's School of Design, where his subjects included New York City’s counter culture. Before pursuing a full-time photography career, he co-founded the Interactive department at Fabrica, Benetton's Creative Research Center in Treviso, Italy.

Born and raised in Texas, Spencer lives in New York City.
